THE INTERVIEW
1. What song is the most personal for you and was it hard to release to the public?
Kyle: That's a hard toss up between "Unnanounced" and "Honestly." I don't think it was difficult to release either one to the public. I'm proud of what we did with the songs and how much emotion is in each one. So, why not share them?
2. What was your reaction when you heard the finished album for the first time?
Kyle: I thought we had something special. There wasn't a song that any of us thought was just filler.
3. What can fans expect on your upcoming tour with Slaves?
Kyle: Head bangin and hair slangin!
4. Do you feel that the album was received better than the EP?
Kyle: I think so, but at the end of the day, I'm not totally sure. We grew more and got some extra coverage on this release. So hopefully it did hah
5. Can you give a brief commentary on each track of the record?
Kyle: A track by track was provided for Rock Sound
6. What song are you most excited to play live?
Kyle: Always, "Just Exist!" Seems to be the one everyone wants to sing along to.
7. What song or songs were you most excited for people to finally hear?
Kyle: "Unannounced" and "Honestly." The whole record has a ton of emotion, but these songs are just super personal to me and my life.
8. What was the process for choosing singles like? Why did you choose the ones that you did?
Kyle: Management and ourselves debated for a while on which ones would be the songs to push. I would still really like to get a campaign behind "Just Exist." But we chose "New Face" because it had an old post hardcore feel along with the highest note on the record. "Waiting" is kind of a new age post hardcore song and "Honestly," is a brutally honest song about me growing up. I think people can appreciate that.
9. Are there any songs that didn't make the album that you wish did?
Kyle: Nope! Really stoked on what we have on the record!
10. Was it difficult to choose the track list?
Kyle: Nope! Left it up to management! Hahah
Here are the dates for the Beautiful Death Tour where you can see Picturesque play songs from the album! The Tour is coming to a close!
