New Album: Broadside

Today Broadside has released their second album Paradise. The entire album has a summer, beach vibe and is filled with emotionally raw lyrics and catchy melodies. This is a very honest record and is a huge step up from their debut release of Old Bones. Four songs were released prior to release, "Puzzle Pieces", "Hidden Colors", "Paradise" and "Laps Around A Picture Frame". The new album features lead vocals from both Oliver Baxter and Dorian Cooke. There is something for everyone from ballads such as Summer Strain, which is very heavy with emotion to a very upbeat (but still emotionally heavy) song like Who Cares.

This album is incredibly in its entirety from the lyrics and the music and production. I am so proud of Broadside and this is huge for them. Oliver has an amazing vocal range but I am really happy that Dorian has more vocals on this album because his voice needs to be heard. My favorite songs are Tunnel Vision, Hidden Colors, Laps Around A Picture Frame and Who Cares but honestly every song on this album in incredible. These songs are very relatable especially in today's society where so many young people feel like they don't have a voice or that they don't fit in.
